The best thing is that the restaurant can be moved from one place to another. All it takes is just 15 minutes for the setup to be complete at the push of a button. At least 40% of the power needs are obtained using solar panels and the rest is by using propane. Recycled tires adorn the floor.
3. Leysin’s Le Kuklos Revolving Restaurant
The revolving restaurant, located at 2048 meters above sea level, is greener than before. It takes about an hour and a half to complete on rotation. The procedures for converting the restaurant into a fully green one took many years. It has installed about 10 solar panels recently below the terrace and is looking out for a vertical axis turbine too. Nature lovers can enjoy some good time watching the view of Lake Geneva, Mont Blanc and Rhone Valley. The cafe has about 250 seats.
